1st Meeting of the European Policy Planners' Network (PPN)
Inaugural Meeting
6 - 7 March 2008
The Hague, Netherlands
The PPN is a group of the key policy chiefs from seven governments across Europe from both the security and the integration ends of the policy spectrum. The purpose is to develop a more holistic response that addresses security requisites together with the long term requirements of integration and social cohesion. The PPN was developed to provide more systematic exchange of experience and best practice among working level policy planners and to facilitate a number of joint projects, comparative research, and input into EU programming. The first meeting, held at the Interior Ministry in the Hague on 7th March, 2008, elaborated the focus areas of the network which the group would engage in.
